Bupa Asia Pacific has announced Stuart Hooper as the next APAC CFO, and will join Bupa in March 2024.
Bupa APAC Chief Executive Officer, Nick Stone, said that he was delighted to be able to attract someone of Hooper’s calibre and deep finance management experience to Bupa.
Hooper will join Bupa from an ASX-listed infrastructure services company, Ventia, where he has held senior leadership roles for the past nine years, the majority as Group CFO. Prior to Ventia, Hooper spent more than ten years with PwC focused on M&A Transactions and Assurance, including more than three years in the United States. Hooper Resides in Melbourne with his wife and three children.
Given Hooper’s appointment, Kelly Heintz will be stepping down from her position as Interim CFO, after joining Bupa in late March 2023.
“I’m incredibly grateful for Kelly’s support during the past nine months and for her hard work and commitment to advancing critical projects and supporting our finance leadership team during a period of significant change in the business," said Stone.
“The Executive Leadership Team and I want to wish Kelly all the best for the next chapter of her career."
