CES 2019 introduced the new voice assistant technology from MobileHelp and LifePod solutions. The LifePod was created to benefit the elderly in their everyday lives and provide them with convenient healthcare accessibility.
The LifePod speaker connects users to the MobileHelp emergency response system which gives them access to assistance when they need it the most. Caregivers can also set up reminders and check-ins to ensure their loved one is doing fine.
The LifePod also has additional features of wearable pendants or wrist bands which allows the user to summon for help without speaking. When the user presses the emergency button, emergency services will be called on their behalf which adds a sense of security and comfort to their lives.
