Happy New Year from all of us at Canine Friends Pet Therapy!
We want to let you know we have pet therapy teams available to restart visiting. Currently, 60 facilities throughout NZ have welcomed our member/dog teams back and we have many more members waiting to restart visiting and share their dogs with your residents. Naturally, we ensure our members fully comply with your Covid-19 requirements.
If you would like your pet therapy dog team to resume, then we need the following information:
a) A reply email (to secretary@caninefriends.org.nz) from the senior manager of your facility confirming the pet therapy team can visit.
b) The email should also contain your criteria for visiting (e.g temperature checks, double vaccination, masks) and any other requirements of volunteers visiting your facility.
Once this email is received, the local Liaison Officer will arrange for your pet therapy team to make contact with you and find a suitable date/time to recommence visits.
If we have never visited your facility and you would like to meet with our local Liaison Officer or have a member/dog team commence visiting, please advise Leanne, our secretary at the above email address.
We are looking forward to reconnecting with your residents so we can share our much-loved dogs with them.
