Papa provides companionship services to help connect senior citizens to 'grandkids on-demand', or college students who are able to provide everything from help around the house to transportation and lessons on using technology.
Whilst plenty of on-demand services exist to help connect people with the goal of solving a task, Papa sets itself apart by putting people first and foremost. In doing so, it helps to address loneliness and isolation, issues which affect many elderly people.
Papa founder Andrew Parker was inspired to create the companionship service after his own experience with an ageing family member. When traditional home care services didn't satisfy, he developed the app after experiencing success with college students.
