We Solve Murders by Richard Osman

Richard Osman

Another thrilling new series from Richard Osman, the most prominent emerging fiction writer of the decade.

We Solve Murders by Richard Osman has combined the wit and charm of The Thursday Murder Club with a captivating international puzzle.

Steve Wheeler is savouring his retirement. While he occasionally engages in investigative work, he prefers his familiar rituals and daily routines: the pub quiz, his favourite spot on the bench, and returning home to his cat. His adventurous days are behind him, and his daughter-in-law Amy is now his domain.

Amy Wheeler believes that adrenaline is essential for the spirit. As a private security officer, she never stays in one place long enough to develop habits or routines. Currently, she is on a secluded island, safeguarding the well-known author Rosie D’Antonio.

This was supposed to be a straightforward assignment; however, a corpse, a bag of money, and a murderer targeting Amy force her to send an urgent call for help to the only person she trusts.

Richard Osman is a creative director for Endemol UK. He has been an executive producer on numerous shows, including 8 Out of 10 Cats and 10 O’Clock Live.

He rose to fame, presenting Pointless with Alexander Armstrong. Richard’s popularity and tremendous trivia knowledge led to him presenting his own BBC quiz, Two Tribes, along with Insert Name Here, Child Genius and Richard Osman’s House of Games. He is also a regular on panel shows such as Have I Got News For You and writes a column for the Radio Times.
