Warning Over Retirement Village Frozen Meals

An Invercargill retirement village café is recalling all its branded frozen meals because of potentially undeclared allergens.

Elms Café, situated within the Peacehaven Retirement Village, said the recall affected nearly 20 varieties of meals, including bacon and egg pie and curried sausages.

It said no other products at the café were affected and people should seek medical advice if they were unwell after consuming a frozen meal.

Customers could return the product to the café and get a refund.

More information about the recall can be found here.
