Excitement today as Arvida welcomed over 1300 new residents and 180 new team members to the Arvida family. It’s a special day as Arena Living becomes part of Arvida and it is a focused and smooth transition for everyone.
The dedicated team and supportive investors are now bringing the Arvida Attitude of Living Well to 6,100 older New Zealanders, across 38 Living Well Communities. Arvida is now 25 percent bigger with a substantial Auckland presence of unique communities catering for independent retirement living, rest home, hospital and dementia level care.
Arvida welcomes six highly-regarded retirement communities to their nationwide collection, moving the total count up to 38. Now able to offer four new locations in Auckland, one on the Hibiscus Coast north of Auckland and another at Mount Maunganui.
All the newly-acquired communities focus on independent living; one of them also offers serviced apartments. However, long-term plans for the locations include offering more care services to residents. Arvida is also looking at bringing Arvida Good Friends to Auckland and Tauranga, which would be open to all Arvida residents and over-65s living nearby.
