Over many years, Debbie Davison, a former Therapy Assistant from a large 160-bed Residential Aged Care Facility in the north of Perth, Western Australia has observed the important place of music within a therapy program.
Music contributes to a sense of well-being for all residents – whether in mainstream or dementia-specific wings, high-care or low-care. The difficulty of sourcing high-quality resources led her, working with her son, to create a DVD. As they put it together, they trialled it many times at work, and as a result, there's now a magical product to share with the rest of the world.
